How does Kin Membership help me save time and energy?

We’ve curated the resources, learning opportunities, and networks you need in one place—so you don’t have to spend countless hours searching for support that's relevant to you as an African or Black impact leader. Our tools, events, and courses are streamlined and designed to make your work more effective.

Can I get my organisation to sponsor my membership?

Absolutely! Many of our members are supported by their employers, as Kin Membership contributes directly to professional development. We can provide an official invoice or supporting documentation upon request.

Are there team or organisational discounts?

Yes, we offer tailored discounts for teams or organisations that want to enrol multiple members. Reach out to us at admin@ijeruka.com to discuss custom packages.

What is the duration of membership?

Kin Membership is offered as an annual or quarterly subscription to help foster deeper connections and long-term growth. You’ll receive reminders before renewal and can cancel at any time.

What if I can’t afford the membership?

We understand that resources can be tight. While we don’t currently offer need-based discounts, we are working towards opening up this opportunity in the future. We occasionally run promotions and scholarships. Subscribe to our newsletter to stay updated on opportunities.

DO I HAVE TO BECOME A MEMBER TO ATTEND COURSES AND EVENTS?

No, you don't have to be a member to enroll in our courses or attend events at Ijeruka. Non-members can sign up for any individual course or event that interests them. However, Kin membership is the most cost efficient and valuable way to join Ijeruka.

Do you offer membership for students?

Yes, we welcome student members at the graduate or PhD level and encourage group memberships from student unions. We’re committed to supporting emerging changemakers. Email us at anwulika@ijeruka.com to discuss specific needs, explore group memberships, or inquire about student discounts.

How do I cancel my membership?

If you’d like to cancel, simply email us at admin@ijeruka.com at least one week before your renewal date. We’ll guide you through the process, though we’ll be sad to see you go!
